a whole lotta knitting

the blog has been quiet for a while. The instagram is full. Now sitting down with a marvellous breakfast in the sun, in the middle of Berlin and actually updating the blog is nice. Realising though – there has been a whole lotta knitting. The last month, well year actually, I’ve started and finished about six projects. Six! Like big ones too. Shirts and pullovers and shawls. About to finish a seventh. Guys this feels like a lot when I read it like this.

Two of them are own designs, which will be live in a few days as well.

This feels totally insta-famous-hipster-lifestyle-like. Which is weird and kinda freeing, I maybe should do that more often. Also eating out for breakfast saves dishes at home too, totally adulting here ..

have a great week you all – and what are you knitting?

florence worth a while

Florence – worth a while

just a few pictures of my Florence stay last month. I enjoyed it a lot. Florence is a beautiful city, a small city and a weekend trip will be great for it. For a longer stay use the train to visit the cities nearby. This I was told by some colleagues while being there. It’s easy and fast. I think next time I will definitely do so. Florence is worth a beautiful weekend (even on a rainy spring day)

Framed – February a little late, but still

So, it’s already way into March, about time to look back at last month, yes? And you know February is a really short month , I don’t feel blame for looking back when it’s almost April, haha. Also my mind is still somehow in February, men are blocking the thinking. I really don’t know if you want to know about such stuff. You know I’m single and don’t have the life of your average “knitting and writing about it and my happy little life in a blog” person. There is no husband who brings me flowers without no reason or two small kids that smile funnily into the camera. I’m single, I enjoy (and struggle) with the ups and down this comes with.┬á

Framed – December 2016 – FaLalala

oh Hello 2017, you sneaked up quickly, didn’t you? I’m looking forward meeting you, bringing all of us your best and worst and fun and smiles and full bellies everywhere.

December ’16 was mixed with lots of faces for me and lots of knitting and lots of ‘oh gracious me’ moments when looking at my instagram, it exploded a little bit čÖé well hello and welcome to my little world as well.

As December is the month of christmas, it so happens that there are christmas markets all over the

photo fun in neuk├Âlln

the 3rd of October is a national holiday in Germany and with some luck, you have brilliant weather on that day every year. So it also happened this 3rd of October (I will not mention that after that day the weather became all dull and grey and wet and nasty – – oopsi now I mentioned)

Anyways, a good friend of mine and I decided to walk around the city and discover the “Kiez”. We went for Neuk├Âlln and it was an awesome day.
