In German we say “ein schöner Rücken kann auch entzücken” (A pretty back can be enticing too). And so I made a shirt, simple and plain in the front, the oooh moment in the back. Super simple really. I didn’t follow a particular pattern, just used my gauge to create this bottom up shirt. And of course a cute lace section to created the endearing back.

yarn: Madelinetosh prairie, colorway: court and sprak, 1.25 skeins

ravelry: ein schöner Rücken

needles: 3mm

started: June 2017

finished: September 2017

pattern: as said no particular one. swatching, calculating hip width and starting, adding waist shaping, some boobs, separating front and back, and some mini sleeves at last. The sleeves are worked double, so I picked up 2sts per 3 rows and in the end worked them like *k1, sl1wyib* and vice versa for the next row…
