the 3rd of October is a national holiday in Germany and with some luck, you have brilliant weather on that day every year. So it also happened this 3rd of October (I will not mention that after that day the weather became all dull and grey and wet and nasty – – oopsi now I mentioned)
Anyways, a good friend of mine and I decided to walk around the city and discover the “Kiez”. We went for Neukölln and it was an awesome day.
another great thing about this day is I re-discovered my love for photography, light and shadows, those little details that make a picture just right and decided to buy a new camera. The one I have is a Nikon D5100 and as much as I love it, I never have it with me. It’s just too big. Now I have a “pocket-DSLR” the Panasonic Lumix LX100. While I have only just started testing it, I can already tell it’s going to be just wonderful.
Follow me also on instagram to see more of this awesome stuff 🙂

Beautiful photos – it looks like you had a lovely trip! I look forward to hearing more about what you think of the Lumix – I have the same troubles with my DSLR being too bulky to want to lug around with me everywhere. Also, the silver/black combo of your camera has a lovely “retro” look to it that I love, too! 😉
